:: ANNUAL WEBSITE UPDATE FINALLY COMPLETE ::
If there's one thing that gets neglected around our place...it's the website. But fear not, we have finally updated the site with plenty of new work and goodies to keep you busy until next year's update.

:: INTAKE SPONSORS SCHMOOZE 07 IN CHICAGO ::
Actually it's us and a bunch of other people from the industry, but we'll take as much credit as we can get. If you're not familiar with the event, it's touted as being the Creative Industry's Bash of the Year.

:: 3-YEARS-OLD AND STILL RUNNING STRONG ::
Unlike most 3-year-olds, we don't throw tantrums and require naps. It's true, we are officially three years old. Time has really flown by. Thanks to all of you for your support and encouragement.

:: COREY TYRELL JOINS INTAKE AS MOTION GRAHICS ARTIST/ART DIRECTOR ::
We can't push ourselves as a design-driven shop without having some strong designers on staff. To help with this task, we've added Corey Tyrell to the roster. Corey is a strong designer and incredible motion graphics artist with a background in both advertising and broadcast.

:: VINCENT McNEILL STEPS ACROSS THE BORDER TO JOIN INTAKE STUDIO ::
So maybe it was only the Oklahoma border, but still that qualifies as our first out-of-state recruiting effort. Vince is so diverse in skills that we still don't know what his actual title is. He will run our newest AVID suite as well as serve as Post Production Director/Effects Supervisor.

:: INTAKE STUDIO ADDS SECOND AVID HD/SD SUITE ::
To keep up with the work, we've added a second AVID suite. Just like our original suite, this new one will be able to handle HD or SD projects. With this advancement, we'll be better equipped to handle our growing clients' needs.

:: INTAKE GOES HIGH DEFINITION ::
Someone once said "you either stay ahead or you'll fall behind". In order to stay ahead, we have upgraded our AVID Suite to Hi-Def. Of course, we're still going to hang on to our Atari 2600 and out 8-Track players so we don't get too far ahead of ourselves..

:: THE STEREOTYPES "OUTSIDE" MUSIC VIDEO ::
Intake Studio has been selected to produce the music video for The Stereotypes track "Outside". These guys are a great band out of San Diego. If you haven'e heard them yet, go to iTunes and see for yourself. From the rumors that I've heard, you'll be hearing this track a lot starting this Spring.

We are wrapping up the final pieces for our first spot for the Delta Community Credit Union in Georgia. It's a small step in our quest for world domination...but we'll get there.

:: ANOTHER EXCITING YEAR OF SHOCKER ATHLETICS ::
We’re looking forward to another exciting year of Shocker athletics, you on the other hand should keep your eyes on the video board at Koch Arena. We’re creating a new basketball open and other graphic elements for the games. This is now our third year working with WSU Athletics and each year it gets better.

:: WE’RE PITCHING A TENT IN PARK CITY ::
Not literally, we’re actually finishing up a project for The Coleman Company. The project is a re-branding effort designed to go along with an event that is featuring a new product line being released for Coleman in 2007. The event is taking place August 7-9 in Park City, Utah. Thanks to everyone at Coleman, it was great working with all of you.

:: PREFERRED HEALTH IN HD ::
We recently just finished two commercials for Preferred Health Systems with our good ol’buddy John Vutech over at Associated Advertising here in Wichita. The two spots were shot in HD with a Sony HDW-F900 CineAlta High Definition Camera. (Quick, say that three times real fast) Check out our latest masterpiece under the WORK tab, I dare you.

:: LITTLEFIELD HAS CHOSEN INTAKE STUDIO ::
Littlefield Inc. in Tulsa has chosen Intake Studio to produce a TV commercial for the Tulsa Health Department. A big THANKS goes out to Jason Jordan at Littlefield, you have chosen wisely my friend. Production will wrap up the end of June and the commercial will air in July. You can check it out under our WORK tab just as soon as it is completed.

:: ABODE HOME ::
Spring is here, and so is the new TV commercial for ABODE HOME. The commercial is a 30-second spot featuring the spring furniture line up. A big thank you goes to Karen Cundiff for bringing the project to Intake Studio. Check it out, it’s now playing under the WORK tab.

:: SWEET SHOCKERS ::
Intake Studio is proud to announce we have been selected to produce a DVD featuring the 2005-2006 Wichita State University basketball championship season. :: ”WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE ACADEMY…” ::
The American Advertising Federation of Wichita held the 2006 ADDY Awards show on Saturday February 25, and awarded Intake Studio with a total of eight awards. We received two Gold Addy’s, two Silver Addy’s, two Bronze Addy’s, a “Special Citation” in Special Effects for our Neiman Marcus piece, and a “Best of Show” for Television for our Delta Dental of Kansas commercial.

:: THIRD DEGREE ADVERTISING AND INTAKE STUDIO PAIR UP FOR 7-ELEVEN COMMERCIALS ::
Third Degree Advertising in Oklahoma City has chosen Intake Studio to produce four 30-second TV commercials for 7-Eleven convenient stores. Thank you to Tara Street from Third Degree and check back in March for the finished spots. You can check it out under our WORK tab as soon as they are completed.

:: CURRENT TV SELECTS INTAKE STUDIO FOR STATION ID PROMO ::
CURRENT TV, a national cable and satellite channel dedicated to bringing viewer-created content to television, has selected a piece designed by Intake Studio’s motion graphics artist, Chad McClure, to run as a 15-second station identity promo.

:: WE’RE IN NEIMAN MARCUS ::
We recently completed a project for Neiman Marcus in Dallas. It is a motion graphics piece set to run on in-store televisions. The piece itself is designed to push the latest trends and styles that Neiman Marcus has to offer within their shoes and handbags department. We were lucky enough to partner up with Greg Malphurs of Soupcan Design on this one. Check it out in the WORK section.

:: OUR LATEST ADDITION ::
Zac Spear has joined us to serve as our Marketing Coordinator. He will be responsible for expanding our client base into new markets and making sure that everyone in the world gets a chance to find out what we do and why we should do it for them. :: THE PROJECT THAT WASN’T ::
We just wrapped up a project with an agency in Chicago for an undisclosed client. The piece was all motion graphics and was used as a backdrop for the 50th Anniversary celebration they were having. We’d love to show it to you, but it seems federal regulations won’t let us distribute this kind of work. Although we can’t show it to you, we can tell you it was smokin’ hot.

It is amazing how many people actually look at a website. Ever since we pulled down our old site because of issues we were having with hosting, people have been asking for something new. Well kids, here it is. The new site is much more streamlined and aimed at getting the work in front of your eyes. And don’t forget to hit this NEWS section from time to time – we’re planning on using this as our place to share everything we think you need to know.
